I Was Thinking About This

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I blogged about my books. That's probably because I've been busy rewriting and editing them for the past year. I let them sit for a couple of years, then reread them and decided they sucked, so back to the drawing table to tighten them up, cut out at least 100 pages per book, and to strengthen the characters. This is more a contest of my will against theirs than anything else.

So far I'm 3/4 of the way through book 1, and 1/2 way through book 2, and I haven't yet approached book 3, but have book 4 in the back of my mind. Arrgh! When I started this adventure I didn't realize it would take me 10 years! Crap!

In that space of time I've also taken up songwriting and singing. Yeah, at this late stage of life I'm living a fantasy I never would have expected back in the day, and I'm sorta sorry I didn't discover this talent back when I was young and wild. Maybe it's better I didn't.

Anyway, I've promised myself that I will finish The Biker Chronicles before I die of old age, and when I do, good or bad, I will publish them... maybe here, who knows?

Now, back to work.
